Winery visit
Many are the visitors that each year go down to our wineries which are
located under San Nicola church, one of the most ancient in the whole
town. They go back to the 17th century and they extend under historical
palaces. We can see hisotrical signs of that period. A piece of the ancient city
walls of the 13th century, an ancient press of 1836, the
prison of the Carbonari Morelli and Silvati and the thousands and
thousands of bottles that for at least three years get old at cool and
dark before seeing the light and getting dressed.

you will soon realize that time is not money as you have
always heard elsewhere but a constant to reach quality. On
the other hand it is enough to go along the labyrinth of cellars to
verify it. The sound of the bottles still shaken by hand on the pupitres, the oak
perfume where the must of the last grape-harvest
ferments, surround you
as long time ago. The piles of bottles of the different years have in aging their own ritual
to reach their aim.
